Expo Dad

Since we started organizing events for moms almost a decade ago, we noticed and have been happy to see the growing number of young, active fathers with their wives and kids– listening in on our parenting talks, participating in activities, doting on and cuddling their babies and little ones.  We’ve heard a number of them say to us in jest- “Another event for moms? What about us?!”  

So last year, during the first Expo Mom at the Rockwell Tent, the “dad among us”, Gary Villanueva of Creative Juice, set up an Expo Dad booth, and asked dads to fill up  a short questionnaire (in exchange for some goodies and giveaways ) The survey was meant to find out if dads would be interested in an event made just for them, and if they are, what would they want to see at that event.  

Response was overwhelmingly positive!  Not only were dads excited about the idea of Expo Dad, even the moms were sold on the idea and shared our same sentiment: It’s about time we did something to celebrate fathers and fatherhood!

Now we are so excited to announce our very first event for daddies: EXPO DAD, happening on July 18, 2009 at the Rockwell Tent!

Mommies, we hope you note the date down on your family calendar and bring your partners-in-parenting to this event!

Daddies, it’s your turn! This is event is created just for you!  Grab your car keys, wife and kids, nappy bag and stroller, and head on down to the Rockwell Tent on July 18, 2009!

Expo Dad hours: 10am to 8pm

Entrance fee: P25.00 per person more than 12 years old
